Head Of IKN Reports IKN Development Progress To DPR, Presidential Palace 58 Percent

JAKARTA - Head of the Archipelago Capital Authority (IKN) Bambang Susantono reported the progress or progress of the development of government offices in Ibu Konta Nusantara (IKN) in East Kalimantan to Commission II of the DPR. Bambang revealed that the construction of the Presidential Palace and the ceremonial field for the celebration of the 79th Indonesian Independence Day had reached 58.531 percent. "Just to remind, we are in stage 1 which was earlier until the end. Furthermore, every 5 years there will be the next stage so 2045. So this city will be built until 2045," said Bambang, starting his response in a hearing (RDP) with Commission II of the DPR RI, at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, March 18. Bambang then reported that the progress of the Presidential Palace and the field at IKN had reached 58.531 percent. The project is targeted for completion in October 2024. "Then the presidential office building also looks like the blades from the garuda, God willing, have started to be installed and the longer the wings of the Garuda will be clearly visible, it will color the presidential office building," he said. Bambang also explained that the progress of the Presidential Office Building was 78.658 percent. Meanwhile, the Presidential Secretariat Building has reached 65.195 percent. All of them, he said, will be completed 90 percent by August 2024. "The Presidential Secretariat progresses 65 percent and God willing, within a matter of months in August we hope that it will be closest, everything is close to 90 percent or close to completion," he explained. Meanwhile, the progress of the minister's landed house, added Bambang, is almost 85 percent. He said the official residence for the ministers would be completed in June 2024. "This is a ministerial landed house which is often reported that the target for June has been completed," he added.
