Engineering Against The Flow On The Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road Has Already Started, Valid From KM 47 To KM 65

JAKARTA - Traffic engineering against the flow or contraflow on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road will take effect on Thursday, 07.35 WIB, following the heavy traffic flow during the long holiday season at the Isra Mikraj and the Chinese New Year.

"To unravel the density of traffic flow, as well as discretion from the police, contraflow is enforced from KM 47 to KM 65 towards Cikampek," said VP Corporate Secretary and Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll Ria Marlinda Paalo in Karawang Regency, West Java, Thursday.

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol appealed to all road users to anticipate travel and ensure that the vehicle is in prime condition.

Toll road users are also advised to ensure that the balance of electronic money is sufficient, refuel before starting the trip, be careful when driving, obey traffic signs, and follow directions from field officers.

In handling traffic congestion during the long weekend holiday momentum, traffic engineering is also prepared on the Cipali Toll Road.

Head of the Astra Toll Operations Division of Cipali Sri Mulyo in Subang Regency, West Java, said that his party predicts 292,000 vehicles will pass on the Cipali Toll Road on the long weekend holiday starting Thursday.

"This means that there is an increase in traffic accumulation by 27.5 percent when compared to normal daily traffic," he said.

Based on the Joint Decree (SKB) of the Ministry of Transportation UM.207/6/15/DJPD/2024, the contraflow traffic engineering schedule will be held on Thursday, 08.00-24.00 WIB, on the Cipali KM 72-87 toll road.

Then, on Friday, February 9, at 08.00-24.00 WIB on the Cipali KM 72-87 WIB toll road. Meanwhile, for backflow, traffic engineering will be implemented on Saturday, February 10, at 08.00-24.00 WIB, on the Cipali KM 72-87 toll road.

Furthermore, traffic engineering was carried out on Sunday (11/2), 08.00-24.00 WIB, on the Cipali KM 72-87 toll road.
