Gibran Volunteers In South Sumatra Ready To Win At Least Prabowo-Gibran: Focus On Working On Millennials

JAKARTA - The South Sumatra Pro Gibran Millennialz (RPGM) People's Management has been officially inaugurated. Their job is to ensure that Prabowo-Gibran's victory in Palembang is at least 70 percent.

General Chairperson of RPGM Maulidan Isbar on Sunday, February 4, said that this activity is a national series of RPGM road shows to several provinces in Indonesia including Sumatra, and in southern Sumatra is the second point after West Sumatra after this will continue to Aceh and North Sumatra.

"This series is to strengthen the basis where Prabowo won in 2019 in South Sumatra. We know that in South Sumatra in 2019 Prabowo's vote was around 61.7 percent. We hope that in 2024, Prabowo and Gibran can get at least 70 percent or more votes so that Prabowo's victory in 2019 can repeat itself and contribute national votes in the 2024 presidential election," said Maulidan Isbar, Monday, February 5.

Maulidan Isbar continued, for South Sumatra it is targeted from 60 percent to 70 percent. Tips to win Prabowo-Gibran to date are still focused on millennials of gen Z, this is doing very simple, namely building a network through communication, social media networks so that support continues to grow, because in the Melinial election for gene Z there is about 30 percent of the strength of swing voters from national votes.

"Swing votes are on average 18-40 years old. We are working on it and also targeting that age. Hopefully, with this RPGM, we can take a vote from the swing voter, which is currently still not making a choice. We still have time until February 14 and hopefully it can continue to add to the wave of sound power, especially in South Sumatra," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the South Sumatra MKD RPGM M. Farid Al Harsi said that after being inaugurated, his party immediately coordinated with MKC-MKC throughout South Sumatra.

"From the Ketum MKN, we have the Village Grebek program. We also immediately focus on villages so that voters in the village are rounded up again to choose Prabowo-Gibran on February 14," he said.

He said, for the total members who were inaugurated, there were 50 people for district representatives out of 17 who attended, there were 15 regencies and cities.

"It is hoped that on February 14, 2024, Prabowo Gibran will be able to win massively in South Sumatra and also the millennial segments can be moved from Prabowo and Gibran every aspiration," he said.

The head of the Palembang City RPGM, Dias Dafitrian, added that for the city of Palembang, his party will spread as much as possible to pick up young people in all sub-districts and sub-districts in Palembang City.

"Hopefully with this organization we can guard the 12 million votes of millennial Gen z according to the direction of the national winning assembly to participate in the victory of Prabowo Gibran. For a special program in the future, we will try to discuss further programs with the city team first," he concluded.
