Hundreds Of Students Reject Jokowi's Impeachment At Monas

JAKARTA - As many as 300 joint students from the Indonesian National Student Coalition held a peaceful demonstration to support the peaceful elections in the Monas Horse Statue area, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Friday, February 2.

Hundreds of students brought demands for rejection of impeachment, stop hoax news, fight fraudulent elections, stop political'money' and create peaceful elections.

"In order to create a peaceful election, a contribution from all elements is needed by maintaining stability and not spreading hoaxes and not committing fraud at all in the 2024 election procession," said KMNI and PIC chairman Isco to reporters at the location, Friday, February 2.

According to him, the current roles and functions of government must be well completed. Likewise with election organizers who have prepared their implementation carefully.

"We reject all forms of fraud and unethical actions in the 2024 election procession. Also, we urge that there is no practice of money politics and allow people to choose based on their respective choices," he said.

They also support the enforcement of the constitution and reject the impeachment efforts against President Joko Widodo. In addition, affirming that the 2024 General Election is intended for the welfare of the community.

"Not for ambitious groups or individuals," he said.

Hundreds of people came to the location at around 14.30 WIB. They came in various alma mater suits and carried posters that read The 2024 Peace election.
