YOGYAKARTA - Classical music is synonymous with being listened to on a closed stage, silent, away from the hustle and bustle. Different from the one held by MUSIKONO Learning Journey which was initiated by Bagus Mazasupa. This graduate of the Music Department of the Yogyakarta Institute of Arts, has started to hold a recital tour of the region since 2017 starting from Pasuruan, East Java. "This song actually raises a simple story. It's about the happiness of a pianist who finally has his own piano at home. A gift from my late father. The piano was made in 1942, obsolete. But for me it is a symbol of unforgettable affection. Moreover, my father has been dead for 3 years. The melody I made, is capturing the happy moments as well as missing the sweet memories with loved ones", explained Bagus about the song Semitone.
