Residents Are Invited To Remove The APK During The Calm Period Of The Election

JAKARTA - The Coordinator of the DKI Jakarta Bawaslu Community Prevention and Participation Division, Burhanuddin, explained that when entering a calm period of the 2024 General Election, residents are allowed to remove campaign props (APK) in their respective regions. In addition, 2024 election participants are only allowed to carry out campaigns until February 10.

Later when entering the D-3 Election, there will be no more campaigns either directly or electronic media.

Therefore, his party together with related officers will patrol the election participants and the installed APK-APK.

"We can confirm that on the 10th, 11th and so on there is no APK in DKI Jakarta even though the law is required one day before the D day it is no longer there," Burhanuddin told reporters in the Pancoran area, South Jakarta, Monday, January 29.

"If there are still calm days, then anyone can put order because it's no longer a campaign period," he continued.

He also emphasized that during the calm period of the election, his party carried out patrols of the participants, to prevent campaigns. Moreover, doing money politics to the community.

"Therefore, Bawaslu will carry out surveillance patrols that will intensify surveillance patrols, especially on money political surveillance patrols," he concluded.
