South Jakarta KPU Says 4 Voting Categories Can Move TPS

The General Election Commission (KPU) of South Jakarta said there were 4 categories of voters in the 2024 General Election that could take care of the transfer of polling stations (TPS).

The chairman of the South Jakarta KPU, Muhammad Taqiyuddin, explained that the 4 categories in question, namely; The voice giver who is being treated at the hospital, gets a job (work) on voting day, enters detention center, and the last voter who is affected by natural disasters

However, the management of moving polling stations remains limited to its services, until February 7, 2024.

"You can take care of the transfer of polling stations at the KPU Office, as well as through the Voting Committee (PPS) at the Kelurahan and Sub-district levels. Maximum management until February 7, 2024." said Muhammad, Friday, January 26.

The requirements that must be met are attaching an ID card, a certificate from a doctor for someone who is being treated, while for people being detained, they must attach a letter from the detention center (rutan).

"The requirements are still the same, there is an ID card, personal identity, then a certificate from a doctor or hospital for those being treated, along with his assistant. Then a certificate from the detention center, for those detained," he concluded.
