JAKARTA - The police arrested 4 perpetrators named Pramana, Syahrul, Fikri and Regi. They were arrested on suspicion of robbery on Jalan Pantai Indah Barat Front of the Toho PIK Complex, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, Thursday, January 11, at 02.00 WIB.

The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary, said the burglary took place while the victim was sitting relaxed on the edge of the river. Suddenly four perpetrators came carrying sharp weapons (sajam) of the type of sickle.

"Asked to force the victim's motorbike and cellphone. One of the perpetrators took out a sharp weapon and took the victim's cellphone forcibly," said Ade in his statement, Friday, January 26.

The victim tried to reclaim his cellphone. Unfortunately, this effort actually caused injuries due to the slashing of the sickle sent by the perpetrator. The victim's wrist was injured.

"The victim took the cellphone back. But the victim was actually hit by a sickle in his right hand," he said.

After the incident, the victim was taken to Cengkareng Hospital, West Jakarta for medical treatment.

The police, who received the information, immediately conducted an investigation to examine a number of witnesses.

As a result, the perpetrators were arrested in boarding houses in the Kebon Jeruk area. They were taken to the Penjaringan Police Station to be taken to Polda Metro Jaya, Friday, January 26.

"The team carried out development and succeeded in securing 3 (three) other perpetrators. From the results of the perpetrators' statements, they often carried out robbery and robbery in North Jakarta and West Jakarta," he said.
