Daily Labor Rape Victims Release In Tangerang Get Special Assistance

TANGERANG - Police are still investigating a rape case allegedly committed by a casual daily laborer with the initials WA against a minor in Panongan, Tangerang Regency.

Tangerang Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head Kompol Arief Nazaruddin Yusuf said his party had examined a number of witnesses to strengthen evidence in the arrest and determination of the suspect later.

"We are making efforts to optimize, consistently complete sufficient evidence," said Arief in a short message, Thursday, January 25.

"The instructions are corroborated by the testimony of witnesses being compared by investigators," he continued.

Regarding the handling of victims, said Arief, his party has coordinated with the Integrated Service Center for the Empowerment of Women and Children (P2TP2A) to restore the victim's mental state, so as not to experience continuous trauma

"For the handling of cases for children and women, P2TP2A and d will provide counseling," he concluded

A daily worker with the initials WA is suspected of raping a minor in Panongan, Tangerang Regency. Didi, the victim's brother, said that this case was revealed on Monday, January 22, at 08.30 WIB.

Didi explained that the rape took place when NS was picked up by the perpetrator from his house with the excuse of playing. However, while in the middle of the road the perpetrator directed him to his private home in Panongan.

Arriving at the crime scene (TKP), the perpetrator immediately forced the victim to have intercourse. However, at that time the victim had refused.

"The perpetrator threatened the victim to be killed. Due to threats, my sister was forced to obey him," said Didi, Tuesday, January 23.

After that, the victim told the incident that happened to him to the family members. The report went to the police.

"That same day we immediately reported and created an LP at the Tangerang Police," said Didi.
