JAKARTA - A underage man with the initials SH (14) who was caught committing sexual abuse against a kindergarten girl with the initials PA (6) on the edge of the Cipinang river, Jalan Bulak Ringin, Cibubur Village, Ciracas District, East Jakarta apparently often watches pornographic videos.

East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly said the perpetrator admitted that he often watches adult films.

"For SH's confession to us, he has watched pornographic videos several times," said Kombes Nicolas when confirmed, Thursday, January 24.

For his actions, SH is threatened with 15 years in prison. SH was charged with the article of violence against the child protection law.

"For now, SH, we impose Article 76 E in conjunction with 82 of Law number 17 of 2016 related to violence against child protection laws with a threat of five to 15 years in prison," he said.

Currently, the perpetrator SH has been named a suspect. SH has previously been temporarily detained at the East Jakarta Metro Police. However, because the perpetrator is still a minor, the management will then be directed to the Handayani Cipayung Center, East Jakarta.

"We have handed over the perpetrator to the Cipayung handayani center. We are treated as a law that applies to children who are in conflict with the law," he said.

The perpetrator SH was proven to have committed sexual abuse against PA on Tuesday, January 23 at around 16.00 WIB.

"The information given by the perpetrator and victim to investigators is only the first time (to commit obscene acts)," he said.
