Synergy Of The TNI-Polri In Securing The 2024 Election In Surakarta

JAKARTA - In anticipation of disturbances in Kamtibmas during the 2024 General Elections (Pemilu) in the Central Java Region, the Central Java Police conducted joint training to assist the TNI at the Surakarta City Warastratama Building, Wednesday, January 24.

The Head of Binops Bureauops of the Central Java Police, AKBP Agus Puryadi, conveyed a number of points related to matters that were allowed and prohibited during the implementation of BKO at the Central Java Police.

"The things that need to be done while carrying out BKO at the Polsek at the Central Java Regional Police, we hope that TNI personnel will maintain and secure the Mako and jurisdiction of the BKO location police which is the responsibility," said AKBP Agus in a written statement received, Wednesday night, January 24.

"In addition, directing and inviting people who will report to the Police, assisting the police in carrying out patrols if needed. As well as providing support to police officers in serving the community in the event of a contingency situation," he explained.

The Head of Binops Bureauops also explained in detail what should not be done while carrying out BKO is an activity that has an impact on reducing the image of both the TNI and Polri.

"We hope that TNI and Polri personnel will participate in the implementation of the 2024 Election Democracy party in Indonesia, especially Central Java. And there is no doubt in the community about the commitment to neutrality between the TNI and Polri," he concluded.
