JAKARTA PT Pertamina Niaga regretted the incident of the collapse of the barrier wall at the Fuel Filling Station (SPBU) 34,128,04, Jalan Soepomo, Tebet, South Jakarta, which occurred on Sunday, January 21, at 11.50 WIB.

Although it is not yet known the main cause of the collapse of the wall, Pertamina conveyed deep condolences to the victims and their families.

Pertamina Regional Rel and CSR Communication Manager JBB Pertamina Eko Kristiawan in a written statement said that his party had provided compensation to the victims. Compensation has been given and received directly by the victim's family.

The collapse of the guardrail at the Tebet gas station in South Jakarta took four victims. Three victims, one family, died at the scene of the incident. While one other person managed to survive.

Head of South Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Syamsul Huda, said the three people who were declared dead as a result of this incident were Ani Kusuma Dewi (35), Thio (74), and Sumedi Riyanto (80). Meanwhile, the identity of the survivors was identified as Muhammad Fabian (8).

"The victims who died consisted of two women and one male. The survivors were a boy and had been taken to the Tebet Hospital," he said when confirmed, Sunday, January 21.

The incident of a collapsed wall occurred at around 11.55 WIB. After receiving a report from a resident, as many as 5 Gulkarmat rescue officers were deployed to the location.

"We immediately evacuated upon arrival at the location," he said.
