The police have arrested the perpetrator with the initials HE (49), the perpetrator of throwing a Transjakarta bus with stones on Jalan Raya Lenteng Agung Barat, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta (Jaksel).

Jagakarsa Police Chief, AKP Iwan Gunawan said the perpetrator was arrested on Friday, November 15, at 12.35 WIB.

"The perpetrator was arrested by Jum'at, November 15, 2024, at around 12.25 WIB," said Iwan when confirmed, Friday, November 15.

Iwan explained, before the perpetrator and the Transjakarta bus driver had an argument on the road. The perpetrator felt he was grabbed by the bus while driving on a motorbike.

"There was a verbal altercation because when riding a motorcycle he felt he was grabbed by the Transjakarta bus," he said.

After that, the perpetrator took a large stone, then passed the Transjakarta bus. Then wait in front of the Transjakarta Bus.

Arriving in front of him, the perpetrator immediately threw a stone at the bus. The perpetrator's action was caught on the passenger's cellphone camera, until finally it went viral on social media.

The police, who received the information, immediately carried out an investigation until the perpetrator was finally arrested.

"After an investigation, we have succeeded in securing the perpetrators of throwing the Transjakarta bus windshield," he said.

The perpetrator was taken to the Jagakarsa Police.
