Firli's Extortion, SYL's Examination At The Criminal Investigation Unit Has Not Yet Discussed The Involvement Of Other KPK Leaders

JAKARTA - Lawyer Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) Djamaludin Koedoeboen said the examination of former agricultural minister SYL Thursday, January 11 at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police Headquarters had not yet discussed other KPK leaders in the case of Firli Bahuri's extortion.

"There is no such thing (other KPK leaders), which is clearly related to the confrontation," said Djamaludin at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police Headquarters, Thursday, January 11.

Djamaludin said there were about 6 people who were confronted with several statements submitted between witnesses and investigators.

"What is clear is that every question, communication that occurs between SYL and the other parties has all been answered, there has been synchronization of answers from BAP that arise from what is the substance of the problems that investigators want to get points," said Djamaludin.

As previously reported, former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo alias SYL together with the Director of Agricultural Equipment and Machinery of the Ministry of Agriculture Muhammad Hatta and Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture Kasdi Subagyono were again questioned by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police today, Thursday 11 January.

SYL, Hatta and Kasdi were questioned in connection with the alleged extortion case committed by former KPK chairman Firli Bahuri.

Previously reported, member of the Supervisory Board of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Albertina Ho revealed that Alexander Marwata and Nurul Ghufron were leaders who were complained of violating ethics related to corruption cases at the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan).

"There are two (who were reported to the KPK Council, ed). NG and AM," Albertina told reporters at the ACLC KPK building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Thursday, January 11.

Albertina said the two leaders were reported to be due to alleged conflicts of interest related to corruption cases at the Ministry of Agriculture.
