Mahfud Remembers Rizal Ramli As Friends Of The Struggle

Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs as well as Vice President Mahfud MD expressed his condolences for the death of the former Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs and also former Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Rizal Ramli.

Through the X account, Mahfud expressed his condolences as well as remembering the figure of Rizal Ramli as a friend in arms who can support or criticize each other.

The economist who is also the former Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs and also former Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Rizal Ramli passed away on Tuesday night in Jakarta.

This was conveyed by Rizal Ramli's relative, activist Adhi Massardi, when contacted by Antara.

"Yes, it's true from friends, half an hour ago," said Adhie.

According to Adhie, Rizal has been hospitalized for about a month. Rizal, said Adhie, last appeared in public when he attended the birthday of the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Panjaitan.

"Two months ago, during dinner, he last appeared in public on Mr. LBP's birthday," he said.
