ART For Breaking Into Employers' ATM Cards Has Not Been Arrested

JAKARTA The alleged theft by a household assistant (ART) broke into his employer's Automated Cash Ajungan (ATM) card was viral on social media. Tens of millions of money were successfully withdrawn by the alleged perpetrator, YS.

When confirmed, Pancoran Police Chief Kompol Sujarwo said that his party had only received a report on Tuesday, December 12.

However, he has not been able to conclude what losses the victims suffered. Therefore, his party is still coordinating with the bank.

"Just yesterday we made a police report and we followed up. We will conduct an inspection and coordinate with the bank," said Sujarwo in his statement, Wednesday, December 13.

Sujarwo said that based on the examination of the victim (the perpetrator's study), at that time he put his wallet on the refrigerator. By the alleged perpetrator, the victim's ATM card was taken.

"Indeed, he was close to his boss, until he found out about his PIN. The ATM was taken, it was suspected that the perpetrator knew about his ATM PIN," said Sujarwo.

YS was confronted by his employer some time ago. In fact, the money that was successfully withdrawn from his employer's ATM was also seen, faced in front of the perpetrator who at that time was wearing a pink sleeping watch.

However, according to Sujarwo's explanation, during interrogation by the victim, YS suddenly fled. Therefore, members of the Pancoran Police Criminal Investigation Unit are still searching for YS.

"He ran away. Go home, run away. The perpetrator is still being hunted," he said.
