JAKARTA - Controlling of chaotic cables in Jakarta is still focused on roads that already have a main hall or utility box. Acting (Plt) Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Highways Service Heru Suwondo said, controlling air cables on small roads is still not possible. "Meanwhile, we are controlling the main road that has played the utilities, while in smaller neighborhoods there is no," said Heru, Thursday, November 23. Even so, he appealed if the operator wants to build network cables, starting today it must be built in the ground and no longer stretched in the air. Heru added that until now most of the main hall in the South Jakarta area with a total installed route has reached 6 kilometers. The 100 percent area has been completed and is arranged into the Integrated Utilities Network Facility (SJUT) in the Mampang Prapatan area.

He admitted that he could not target when the entire chaotic cable would be completed to be moved into the SJUT, therefore it all depends on the utility box that must be completed first. "Once the main hall is finished, we will move the above down," said Heru. Meanwhile, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government also continues to urge cable owners to immediately organize their network before forced cuts are carried out. It is known that the Integrated Utilities Network Facility (SJUT) is a program to place utility networks such as optical fiber cables, PLN and the like in an integrated manner located underground in accordance with DKI Jakarta Governor Regulation Number 69 of 2020.
