Case Closed, 6 Stab Wounds And 91 Percent Burns, Police Consider The Death Of A High School Student Of Pamen TNI AU Suicide

JAKARTA Deeper looking at the death of CH (16), a son of a high-ranking officer (Pamen) of the Indonesian Air Force who was found dead on fire at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, last September, a forensic specialist at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, Dr. Arfiani Ika Kesumawati gave an explanation.

Based on the autopsy results of the forensic test at the Police Hospital, the first thing the vocational school student did was stab his body with a knife. Then CH set himself on fire.

"As a result of the examination, we concluded that the cut of the liver resulted in severe bleeding and burns causing death. Separately or simultaneously, causing death," said Dr. Arfiani to reporters, Thursday, November 23.

Forensic examination was carried out on September 25 at 02.00 WIB. It was found that CH had 6 open wounds or stab wounds to the chest.

"Three of them cut the ribs, liver and stomach," he said.

Furthermore, there is blood in the chest cavity and internal organs that look pale.

"There were 91 percent burns due to exposure to the fire. carbon monoxide was found in the blood and sore in the throat trunk," he said.

That means, CH is still alive when exposed to fire because it was found in a league trunk.

Of the six stab wounds, three of them cut the victim's ribs, liver, and stomach. Then, there is blood in the chest cavity and the inner organ that looks pale.

However, based on the investigation and examination of witnesses, the East Jakarta Metro Police concluded that in the case of CH's death there was no criminal element.

"In conclusion, there was no criminal incident in this case," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Leo Simarmata to VOI, Thursday, November 23.

However, Kombes Leo was reluctant to explain the cause of death of the victim whether it was pure suicide or murder.

"That's right (the victim stabbed himself). All evidence confirms the incident. We only provide legal certainty," he said.

Based on the VOI report, October 4, 2023, the East Jakarta Metro Police Chief explained that investigators found gasoline at the TKP.

"No other DNA was found at the crime scene (the crime scene) other than the victim's. Only found gasoline at the crime scene", he said.
