Tonight, The Trial For The IPhone Fraud Case Rinahan Rihani Worth IDR 8.5 Billion Was Held At The Tangerang District Court

TANGERANG - The follow-up trial of the iPhone buying and selling fraud case, the twins Riana and Rihani will be held at the Tangerang District Court tonight, Tuesday, November 21. This trial has an agenda for reading the demands.

Public Relations of the Tangerang District Court, Arif Budi Cahyono, confirmed that today a trial will be held with an agenda for prosecution.

"Today's trial is in Room 3 of the Tangerang District Court," said Arif when confirmed, Tuesday, November 21.

Arif said that the defendant himself would be presented in person to hear the demands for the iPhone sale and purchase fraud case.

"Two defendants were presented in person," he said

Aldo Taufiq Pratama as the Public Prosecutor (JPU) said that the trial would be held after Ba'da Maghrib.

"Ready for Rinhana-Rihani, today is the prosecution agenda. After Maghrib just started," he concluded.

For information, the public prosecutor (JPU) charged the twins Rinhana-Rihani with fraud and embezzlement which resulted in the victims losing Rp8.5 billion.

The two defendants were also charged with violating Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE).

Rihana-Rihani has violated multiple articles in the Criminal Code (KUHP), namely Article 378 in conjunction with Article 64 Paragraph 1 concerning Fraud, Article 372 in conjunction with Article 64 Paragraph 1 concerning Embezzlement and Article 45A Paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 28 Paragraph 1 of the ITE Law.
