PKS Optimistic Anies-Imin Wins If Using The 2017 DKI Gubernatorial Election Strategy

JAKARTA - PKS DPP chairman Mardani Ali Sera is optimistic that the pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates for the Change Coalition, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) or the AMIN pair can win the 2024 presidential election if they use the 2017 DKI gubernatorial election strategy. "AMIN won, God willing, but there is something we can learn from Anies-Sandi's victory in the 2027 DKI Pilkada," said Mardani through his short video uploaded via his X social media account, Tuesday, November 7. According to Mardani, the AMIN pair had to learn from the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election fight in 2017. At that time, Anies was paired with Sandiaga Uno. Both, said Mardani, managed to win competition because they used an ancient Chinese military expert-style war strategy called Sun Tzu. "The point is to recognize three things, 100 times we fought, 100 times we will win war," said Mardani. These three things, he continued, are knowing yourself, recognizing enemies or competitors and recognizing the battlefield. By mastering these three things, Mardani is optimistic that the AMIN pair can beat their opponents in the 2024 presidential election. "We can't beat other people if we don't know ourselves. Where are we strong? Where are we weak? Are we diesel engines? Are we gas engines. Diesel is a bit slow, if gasoline can speed up," explained Mardani.
