Makassar City Government, South Sulawesi has again updated its health service program by launching 47 units of Home Care Dottorota fleets that are more environmentally friendly.

Makassar Mayor Moh Ramdhan Pomanto in Makassar, Monday, said the 47 units of the Home Care Dottorotota fleet that were launched would support the central government's program, namely environmentally friendly or go green.

"Today we are launching a program that has been around since 2015, namely the home care with life medicine program which is abbreviated as the word Dottorotota. After 7 years or 8 years we have revitalized this program to be much better, first of all we will replace the entire car into an environmentally friendly electric car," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 10.

Danny Pomanto - Ramdhan Pomanto's nickname - said 47 units of the Home Care Dottorotota fleet also replaced the previous fleet which was also launched in 2015, and replaced it with a low-carbon and environmentally friendly electric vehicle (EV).

He explained that the Home Care Dottoro fleet is a fast health care car (home care) for our doctor (Dottorota) who is ready to visit every resident's house or patient.

Armadahome care itu sebagai penindakan reaksi cepat jika ada warga yang sakit dan membutuhkan bantuan cepat untuk ditangani di fasilitas kesehatan terdekat.

"This time it is more environmentally friendly because it uses electric cars or low carbon, given the President of the Republic of Indonesia's instructions to support go green," he said.

Not only environmentally friendly, said Danny, several medical monitoring equipment has been carried out equipped with various facilities in the car, such as EKG equipment or electrocardiograms for medical examinations carried out for heart screening. This examination is free for the people of Makassar City.

"So, we can detect people's heart disease. Now the tools are more sophisticated. In the car there is emergency oxygen, whether it's an accident or for example a heart attack, it's complete, this car is small but can carry 1 patient. In the future we will also install a pregnancy ultrasound device. But, for the time being at the Puskesmas can and is free of charge," he said.

Danny explained that this innovation is trying to answer public complaints and concerns about access to health that is considered expensive, difficult, and convoluted.

This innovation also does not look at the status of residents. Anyone from Makassar who contacted the Call Center Home Care via 112, a service from the nearest Puskesmas to the residents' homes (patients). The patient will be visited by the medical team for a quick reaction according to the condition of the residents' illness.

Carlow carbon Dottoro'taini operates 24 hours in 153 urban villages to the halls.

"The experience in 2015 until now has covered very well with a limit of 5 minutes and has reached the residents. This is free," he explained.

Danny said the old Dottoro'ta car would be seconded to all Puskesmas, because the equipment was still in good condition and had met the standards.
