Saturday, Projo Announces Support For Presidential Candidates P

JAKARTA - The General Chairperson of Projo, Budi Arie Setiadi revealed, Projo will invite a presidential or presidential candidate with the initials P in a national working meeting at the Indonesia Arena, Senayan, Saturday, October 14.

Budi said that only the presidential reading supported by Projo would be invited.

When asked whether the presidential reading with the initials P in question was Prabowo Subianto, Budi did not answer explicitly. However, Budi said Prabowo would attend the National Working Meeting.

"Saturday, 14th, we are working on the national meeting, Saturday is the National Working Meeting, the president will attend and will open the 14th, at the Indonesia Arena, the new basketball field. That's a big capacity of almost 20,000," said Budi, Monday 9 October.

When asked who the invited guests would attend, Budi said Prabowo was invited to the meeting. However, Budi ensured that not all presidential readings were invited to the Projo National Working Meeting. However, Budi ensured that the Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party Kaesang Pangarep was also invited.

"We invite the president to read, not (all of them). (Prabowo) yes, we invite. (Kaesang) we invite everyone, only a matter of time they can attend or cannot attend, depending," said Budi.

When asked if inviting Prabowo meant expressing support for Prabowo, Budi only said that Projo supports the presidential reading with the initials P.

Even though he did not answer Prabowo clearly, Budi only said that previously Projo had shown a tendency for support to one of the presidential readings.

"So Mr. P, yes later, the candidate we support is Mr. P. It's been quoted as having a big tendency (to Mr. P). Well, basically P, P can be Mr. Ganjar, Mr. Prabowo can, Mr. Airlangga can," said Budi.

Budi asked the public to wait for the official announcement of Projo's support for one of the presidential readings at the National Working Meeting on Saturday. Budi said there would be no surprises in the National Working Meeting, because Projo's tendency to support had been shown for some time.

"There is no surprise, we are lazy for surprises. Yes, who we support will be announced on the 14th," said Budi.

Regarding the prospective vice presidential candidate who will be supported, Budi said he would leave this to the presidential reading supported by Projo. This was also left to Jokowi.

"The main Vice President, we just go with it, it's up to the presidential candidate and also Pak Jokowi what and his parties are doing. All talk, because this is a matter of the nation and state. It's better for many to talk about it than one, two," concluded Budi.
