Badung Police, Bali, arrested a man named Soni (32) who raped a student in the North Kuta area, Badung, on Tuesday (3/10) after massaging the victim.

Head of the Badung Police Criminal Investigation Unit, AKP Aris Setiyanto, said the perpetrator was a therapist who opened a reflection massage service in a place used as a pharmacy.

"The scene is on the second floor, the first floor is used as a pharmacy and the second floor is used as a reflection massage place," said Aris, Thursday, October 5.

Aris explained that the incident began when the victim of PPS was asked by her mother to buy colds. Incidentally at the same time, the young girl who is still a student is also feeling pain in her leg and plans to find a massage place.

The victim began to search the internet for the location of the nearest pharmacy. Incidentally, from the search, a massage place and pharmacy were found to buy medicine in the same place so that this young woman immediately went to the crime scene (TKP).

According to the police, after arriving at the location and buying medicine, the victim was directed by the perpetrator to go up to the second floor to be massaged at around 16.00 WITA.

"At that time, there was only the perpetrator himself at the crime scene, there were no employees. Then, PPS was asked to take off his clothes, then he was given a cloth to cover his body by Soni like a reflection massage in general," said Aris.

The perpetrator, who was eager to see the victim's body, then raped him.

"The motive in question is because he is tempted to massage the victim, his mind goes everywhere," he said.

After the incident, the girl came home to tell her family about the terrible incident that happened to her. The family who heard their daughter was forced to come to the location and interrogate the perpetrator and the perpetrator admitted it.

The incident was also reported by the victim's brother PS to the Badung Police. That same day, the Criminal Investigation Unit carried out an investigation and arrested Soni.

Soni was charged with the Law on the Crime of Sexual Violence Article 6 letter A number 12 of 2022 or Article 286 of the Criminal Code.
