MSMEs Don't Just Access To A Democratic Party

JAKARTA - General Chairperson of the Bangkit MSME National Movement, Teguh Anantawikrama, appealed to Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises to be more involved in their roles in various activities related to the 2024 Legislative General Election (Pileg) and Presidential Election (Pilpres).

"MSME actors should not just be accessories," said Teguh, Sunday, August 6.

Ahead of the Legislative Election, the Presidential Election and then following the simultaneous Pilkada which is often referred to as a democratic party, various activities began to emerge majestically.

"Interesting is to watch, but it's sad to see MSME actors only become activity accessories," said Teguh Anantawikrama.

"Try to imagine how many activities will be there during the legislative elections which coincide with the presidential election and then the election of governors, mayors or regents in various regions later? MSME actors must be actively involved, not sporadic," Teguh hoped.

"How good it would be if all these activities involved MSME actors actively, how many multiplying effects will occur," continued Teguh Anantawikrama, who is also Bakrie Amanah's Deputy Chair.

According to Teguh Anantawikrama, in addition to having a direct impact on the economy of the local people, it will certainly have a significant electoral impact on anyone who is able to use this moment as a moment of activation' of the people's economy in a genuine manner.

"Let's make this democratic party a party of the nation, not just a handful of people. Let's rise to be a strong country of the people's economy," Teguh Anantawikrama emphasized.
