Mataram Prosecutor's Office Still Completes Administration For Execution Of The Bandar Sabu Pasutri From Mataram

The Mataram District Attorney (Kejari) confirmed that the cassation decision that had been received by the public prosecutor from the Supreme Court (MA) bida became the basis for the execution of a husband and wife convicted of methamphetamine dealer named Ni Nyoman Juliandari alias Mandari and I Gede Bayu Pratama.

Head of the Intelligence Section of the Mataram Prosecutor's Office, M. Harun Al Rasyid, said that therefore the prosecutor's office is currently compiling the completeness of the execution administration.

"So, the excerpt can be the basis (execution). Therefore, we first complete (administration). Because if it is incomplete, we cannot implement it," he said in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Tuesday, July 1, confiscated by Antara.

After the administrative completeness file from the execution of the complete execution, Harun assured his party that he would submit a notification letter to the correctional institution.

Previously, Mataram District Court Spokesperson Kelik Trimargo said he had received an excerpt from the cassation decision for the two convicts Mandari and Bayu from the Supreme Court.

The spokesperson for the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Efrien Saputera, also conveyed the same thing.

Efrien emphasized that the excerpt of the verdict could be used as provision for the prosecutor's office to carry out the execution of the convicts Mandari and Bayu.

As is known, the cassation judge canceled the acquittal of two drug convicts Ni Nyoman Juliandari alias Mandari and her husband, I Gede Bayu Pratama.

Citing the official website owned by the Supreme Court, the verdict numbered: 1548 K/Pid.Sus/2023. dated June 7, 2023.

In addition to canceling the acquittal, the Supreme Court judge in the verdict stated that the actions of the two defendants were proven to have violated Article 114 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.

By stating this, the cassation judge sentenced Mandari to 7 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 1 billion, subsidiary to 3 months in prison.

Meanwhile, Bayu, the judge, sentenced him to 4 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 1 billion, subsidiary to 3 months in prison.
