JAKARTA - A female passenger on the commuter line train fell from the Sudirman Station platform into the railroad track. In fact, the victim was in the bottom gap of the platform when the commuter line train passed.

The incident was caught on an amateur camera by residents and then went viral on social media. In the video, a woman wearing a black shirt and veil suddenly appeared from below the platform for avoiding a speeding train.

KAI Commuter's External Relations & Corporate Image Care Manager, Leza Arlan, said the incident began when a user was about to board the commuter line No. 553B Cikarang Angke relation on platform 1 when he was about to lose balance. The incident occurred on Wednesday, July 12.

"Regarding the video of a user falling at Sudirman Station, it is true, we apologize for the incident. With the security officers who were setting up and going down, the user immediately helped the user," said Leza when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, July 13.

Furthermore, the victim was taken to the Sudirman Station health post for treatment. Due to this incident, the user suffered injuries to his body.

"After treatment and improving conditions, users continue their journey again," he said.

KAI Commuter appeals to all users to always pay attention to safety and security. Always prioritize users who want to get out of the train and not force themselves to enter when the train is full.

"Users are expected to be careful when going up or down the train, lock it behind the platform's safe line and always follow directions and instructions from officers at the station," he said.
