The Bandung District Court Panel of Judges sentenced two ASN as clerk staff within the Supreme Court, namely Desy Yustria and Nurmanto Akmal who were accused of bribery cases for Supreme Court justices, with sentences of eight and four years in prison.
Chief Judge Hera Kartiningsih said Desy and Nurmanto were legally and convincingly proven guilty of committing a criminal act of corruption together.

Desy was found guilty in accordance with the first indictment of the second alternative, namely Article 11 in conjunction with Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption, Jo Article 55 paragraph 1 1 in conjunction with Article 65 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.
Then in accordance with the indictment of the first two alternatives, namely Article 12 letter a in conjunction with Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption, Jo Article 55 Paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.
As for Nurmanto Akmal, the judge sentenced him to 4.5 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 1 billion, subsidiary to 6 months in prison. The judge also gave an additional sentence in the form of the obligation to pay compensation of 30 thousand Singapore dollars and Rp. 57.5 million.
Nurmanto was found guilty in accordance with the second alternative indictment, namely Article 11 in conjunction with Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption, Jo Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.
As for the charges in the bribery cases of Supreme Court justices, Desy Yustria and Nurmanto Akmal are suspected of brokering bribes to Supreme Court Justices Sudrajad Dimyati and Gazalba Saleh.
The bribe money came from Heryanto Tanaka through his lawyer, Theodorus Yosep Parera, for the handling of a case related to the Intidana Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSP). So that the bribe was allegedly carried out because the bribes wanted the Supreme Court judge to grant the appeal filed.
