JAKARTA – The South Jakarta Metro Police have named another suspect in the case of abuse of the son of GP Ansor administrator, David (17). The suspect has the initials, S (19).

"Based on the facts, proof, and evidence that we found from the deepening of the investigation, tonight we have transferred the status of S.L.R.P.L (19) to a suspect," said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Ade Ary, Friday, February 24, early morning.

Ade explained that the role of suspect S was to provide opinions so that the perpetrator Mario was instigated to beat the victim. In addition, he also accompanied the perpetrator to beat David.

"(His role) agreeing to the invitation of the suspect MDS (Mario Dandy Satrio) to accompany him with the aim of beating the victim. Gave an opinion to the suspect, "Well, that's bad, okay, let's beat him up," he said.

Ade continued, S was also the one who recorded Mario's acts of violence against David. Then allowed acts of violence perpetrated by the son of South Jakarta DGT officials.

“Recording acts of violence with mobile phones. Allowing violence to occur, and not preventing it," he said.

"Set an example of 'repentance' at the request of the suspect MDS so that the victim imitates it," he continued.

Until now, suspect S is still being investigated further. This friend of Mario will be charged with Article 76 C in conjunction with Article 80 paragraph (1) of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection in conjunction with Article 351 of the Criminal Code. This article contains a penalty of 5 years in prison.
