President Prabowo Emphasizes that Masela's Permanent LNG is a Milestone in Energy Independence

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto emphasized that the National Strategic Project (PSN) Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Abadi Masela is an important milestone in strengthening national energy independence as well as accelerating Indonesia's transformation into a modern industrial country. The Head of State made the statement when inaugurating the groundbreaking of the Abadi Masela LNG project which was held hybridly through a video conference from the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, and the project location in the Tanimbar Islands Regency, Maluku Province, on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
