Hasya Athallah's File At The Ombudsman Is Incomplete, The Legal Team Is Given 30 Days

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Ombudsman is still waiting for the completeness of the file from Hasya Athallah's legal team regarding the maladministration report that was allegedly committed by the South Jakarta Metro Police and one of the hospitals in the case of the accident experienced by Muhammad Hasya Athallah Syahputra, a FISIP UI student in the Jagakarsa area, South Jakarta.

"The report has been submitted to the verification and report receiving team (PVL). It's still being processed", said the Head of the Assistant Office for the Jakarta Raya Ombudsman Examination, Mulyadin to VOI, Monday, February 6.

The report submitted by Hasya's legal team, currently, the report is still being examined for administrative completeness, both the completeness of the formal requirements and the material requirements.

"In substance, the Ombudsman will later take follow-up steps from the report. But now, earlier I communicated with verification friends and report recipients, and he said there were still deficiencies. The deficiencies had been conveyed to reporting friends, they had been sent via email and WA contact", said Mulyadin.

Even so, Mulyadin stressed, his party gave reporters the opportunity for up to 30 days to complete the files that had been submitted to the Indonesian Ombudsman.

"Because after all, the Ombudsman will first ensure the completeness of the internal administration, both in terms of formal and material requirements, some of which have been submitted. For some other data that is needed, the reporter has not fulfilled it", he said.

Previously it was reported, a team of attorneys for the family of Indonesia University student M Hasya Athallah, a traffic accident victim who was hit by a retired police officer, finally came to the RI Ombudsman's Office on HR Rasuna Said Street, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Tuesday, January 31, noon.

The arrival of Hasya's legal team to the Ombudsman to report the case of Hasya's accident which was deemed not to have received legal justice.

"We brought the report files for the Ombudsman today", Hasya's family attorney, Gita Paulina, told VOI, Tuesday, January 31.

Hasya's legal team who are members of the University of Indonesia Alumni Association (ILUNI UI) also brought several other documents to be reported to the Indonesian Ombudsman.

"Apart from the report, there are also evidence files SP2HP, SP3 and SP2HP investigations and investigations", he said.

Reports of complaints from the Hasya family attorney team regarding allegations of maladministration in the handling of traffic accident cases by the South Jakarta Metro Police and the hospital have been received by the Indonesian Ombudsman.

"(Reports have been received) Representatives from the Greater Jakarta Ombudsman and the Greater Jakarta Ombudsman examiner", said Gita Paulina, Hasya's family attorney, Wednesday, February 1.

In addition to reporting the South Jakarta Metro Police to the Ombudsman, Hasya's legal team also reported a hospital in Jakarta that handled the post-mortem et repertum of Muhammad Hasya Athallah Syahputra, a FISIP student at the University of Indonesia (UI).

"During the meeting, we explained the chronology of events and maladministration or procedural errors in the handling of the Hasya Athallah case, both at the South Jakarta Police and when the family was carrying out post-mortem visits", she explained.

After the traffic accident that occurred in the South Jakarta area on Thursday night, October 6 2022, the victim Hasya was taken to the hospital.
