BMKG Predicts That Bandung, Jakarta, Yogyakarta To Makassar Will Be Rained This Afternoon

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) estimates that most cities in Indonesia will experience light rain and thunderstorms on October 26 this afternoon.

Quoted from the BMKG page, the major cities that are expected to have light rain this afternoon are Banda Aceh, Denpasar, Serang, Bengkulu, Yogyakarta, Bandung.

Furthermore, Palangka Raya, Tanjung Pinang, Bandar Lampung, Kupang, Manokwari, Makassar, Manado, and Padang.

Other major cities that are predicted to receive thunderstorms are Central Jakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, Banjarmasin, and Pekanbaru.

If you want to know the forecast this morning, BMKG reported that a number of big cities in the country were cloudy.

The cities are Serang, Yogyakarta, Central Jakarta, Gorontalo, Semarang, Pangkal Pinang, Ternate, Manokwari, Pekanbaru, Mamuju, Makassar, Manado, Padang and Palembang.

Meanwhile, major cities that are expected to receive light rain are Banjarmasin, Palangka Raya, Tarakan, Bandar Lampung, Mataram, and Medan.

Other cities that are expected to receive moderate rain are Banda Aceh, Denpasar, Bengkulu, Pontianak, and Tanjung Pinang.

BMKG also estimates that some cities will be cloudy, namely Jambi, Bandung, Surabaya, Ambon, Kupang, Jayapura, and Kendari. Another big city that is estimated to be foggy is Samarinda.
