M. Taufik Watching Formula E In Blue Dress With Nasdem Politicians, Is It Good To Leave Gerindra?

JAKARTA - Member of the DKI Jakarta DPRD from the Gerindra faction, Mohamad Taufik, was present at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC) to watch Formula E.

Arriving at the VVIP circuit area, Taufik arrived with the Nasdem Party politician, Bestari Barus. Meanwhile, a number of other politicians came with their party mates such as PKB General Chair Muhaimin Iskandar with Ida Fauziyah, and PAN Chairperson Zulkifli Hasan with Hatta Rajasa.

Taufik also wore a blue shirt when he came to the Formula E circuit in Ancol, North Jakarta. However, Taufik reasoned that the blue shirt he was wearing was to match the color of the sea north of Jakarta, which is close to the circuit location.

"We are on the seafront, so we wear blue clothes," joked Taufik when meeting at the location, Saturday, June 4.

When asked about the presence or absence of senior Gerindra Party officials, including General Chairman Prabowo Subianto, to watch Formula E, Taufik also admitted that he did not know this.

Currently, it is rumored that Taufik will resign as a member of the council after he was removed from the position of deputy chairman of the DKI DPRD by the Gerindra Party DPP. In fact, it was rumored that Taufik would leave Gerindra and join the Nasdem Party.

When asked about his stability in changing parties, Taufik did not answer directly. "Amen," he said simply.

As is known, the ninth series of Formula E was officially held today, Saturday 4 June at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit, Ancol. This electric car racing event will be held for one full day. Here's the schedule and important information about Formula E today.

The Formula E event has a different format from the Formula 1 race which is usually held three days in a row. For Formula E, each series is only held on one day starting from free practice, qualifying to racing.

President Joko Widodo was also present to watch the race live. In addition to Jokowi, a number of officials who attended included the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno, Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly Bambang Soesatyo, Commander of the Regional Military Command Major General Untung Budiharto, Head of Metro Jaya Police Inspector General Fadil Imran, Chairman of PAN Zulkifli Hasan, PAN politician Hatta Rajasa, and General Chairperson Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono's democratic party.

In addition, Gerindra politician Mohamad Taufik, PKB General Chair Muhaimin Iskandar, Manpower Minister Ida Fauziyah, Youth and Sports Minister Zainudin Amali, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit, ATR/BPN Minister Sofyan Djalil, and Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin were also present.
