Year-End Records, Crime In Bandarlampung Drops 17 Percent But Curanmor, Curas And Curat Still Dominate

BANDARLAMPUNG - City Resort Police (Polresta) Bandarlampung noted that cases of motor vehicle theft (curanmor), theft and violence (curas), and heavy theft (curat) or C3 still dominate the crime rate in 2021.

"The crime rate in the jurisdiction of the Bandarlampung Police during 2021 is 2,523 cases, a decrease of 17.1 percent compared to last year's 3,046 and the one that still dominates is the C3 case," said Bandarlampung Police Chief Kombes Ino Harianto, in Bandarlampung, Antara, Thursday, December 30.

He mentioned that the number of theft cases in this city in 2021 amounted to 329 cases and the completion of 141 cases, this number decreased compared to 2020 which reached 553 cases.

Then in 2021, there were 207 drain cases with 135 cases resolved, in the C3 case it also decreased when compared to last year's 325 cases with 159 settlements.

Meanwhile, continued Ino, for curas cases in 2021, there were 66 cases with 37 cases being resolved, a decrease when compared to 2020 where the same cases amounted to 79 cases with 37 settlements.

"Overall, all cases that occurred in the Bandarlampung Polresta area in 2021 have decreased compared to 2020, while case settlements have increased," he said.

On that occasion, he said that traffic violators in Bandar Lampung experienced a decrease of 8,402 or 57 percent from the previous year.

Ino also stated that there were 6,255 traffic violators in 2021, while in 2020 there were 14,657 violators, a decrease of 8,402 cases or 57 percent.

"Based on our evaluation of all traffic violators, on average they work as private employees and students who have an age range of 15 to 45 years or productive age," he said.
