TGUPP Anies Says Infiltration Well Was Jokowi's Inheritance, Ferdinand: Same Program But Different Model, In Jakarta Damaged And Destroyed Roads

JAKARTA - Social media activist Ferdinand Hutahaean admits that infiltration wells in DKI Jakarta -- which have drawn criticism -- could be carried out with the same program in a number of areas. But what makes the difference is the workmanship.

"The issue of building infiltration wells could be the same program in several areas, including Solo and Medan," Ferdinand Hutahaean tweeted on his Twitter account, which was seen by the editor on Monday, December 13.

"What is not the same is the INFILTRATION WELL MODEL, TECHNICAL INSPECTION WELLS, AND THE RESULTS OF INFILTRATION WELL WORK. Not like in Jakarta, which is messy and destroys roads," he continued.

Previously, a member of the Governor's Team for the Acceleration of Development (TGUPP) DKI Tatak Ujiyati installed a body with criticisms of infiltration wells which drew a lot of public criticism.

In the last few weeks, the construction of infiltration wells carried out by the DKI Provincial Government has indeed drawn sharp criticism. The cover fell off, disruption on the road, and caused the car tires belonging to the Chairman of the PSI DPP stuck.

However, Tatak revealed that the program was actually a legacy from Joko Widodo when he was still governor of DKI.

"The infiltration wells, which are now massively built in Jakarta during the Anies era, are actually continuing the DKI Provincial Government's program under Mr. Jokowi," Tatak said via the Tatakujiyati Twitter account, quoted on Friday, December 10.

Tatak also admitted that she was surprised. When Jokowi launched the construction of infiltration wells since 2013, no one had a problem. This is different from the infiltration well program under the Governor of DKI Anies Baswedan.

"Before it was not a problem, why is it now a problem?" she said.

For information, recently, vertical infiltration or drainage wells in the Capital City have been in the spotlight. Towards the end of the year, the DKI Provincial Government is speeding up the construction of vertical drainage to reach 26 thousand points by the end of December 2021.

Unfortunately, a number of infiltration wells made were damaged. One of them is what the comic Soleh Solihun complained about. Soleh said that the construction of the infiltration well on Jalan Intan, Cilandak, South Jakarta was only carried out a month ago. Turns out, the cover was broken.

The cover of the infiltration well on Karang Tengah Street, Lebak Bulus also collapsed. So, local residents put flower pots to mark so that motorized vehicle users do not pass, until it is finally repaired.
