JAKARTA - The Pancasila Youth Community Organization (Ormas) has recently been in the spotlight.

PP came into the spotlight after being involved in a clash with another mass organization, the Betawi Rempug Forum (FBR) in Ciledug, Tangerang, which led to slanted comments from DPR members from the PDIP faction, Junimart Girsang.

The PP mass who did not accept Junimart's statement then demonstrated in the parliament complex and demanded an apology.

The demonstration was forcibly dispersed by the police after a number of PP elements allegedly ganged up on the Head of the Ops Ditlantas Division of the Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Dermawan Karosekali.

Launching various sources, a number of big names are in the management of this mass organization which was established in 1959 and served in the PP National Leadership Council for the 2019-2024 period.
