Novita Dewi Reveals The Most Memorable Stage With Jack Marpaung

Singer Novita Dewi revealed one of the most valuable experiences when appearing on stage with her father, Jack Marpaung, who recently passed away to the Creator on Sunday, January 5.

Still clearly remembered in her memory, Dewi admitted, since she was a child, her father often brought her when she appeared at various events to sing.

"Yes, I was taken everywhere. Since I was little I was taken everywhere. Where are papa singing, always I was taken," said Dewi to the media crew while at the funeral home in Bekasi, Monday, January 6.

According to Dewi, the figure of Jack Marpaung as a singer and writer of the Batak pop song, has his own pride in his son's singing abilities.

The singer of the first edition of the X Factor Indonesia event admitted that his career as a singer could not be separated from his father's big name.

He said that the moment of one stage with Jack when appearing at an event in the United States was a very beautiful memory.

"I first visited America because of papa. If it weren't for papa, I would never have performed there, because I was nobody," he said.

Dewi did not specifically mention when the moment occurred, but she said the moment occurred when she was very young.

"Even though it was invited by papa, it turned out that Americans said 'Wow, it's fun if you and your child can sing.' It turns out that I can sing and show that I'm really bored (about girls) Jack Marpaung," he said.

With the absence of Jack Marpaung, Dewi also made sure that she wanted to continue her father's musical legacy by continuing to sing.

"Yes, I just pray that I can sing, I can continue Jack Marpaung's legacy to his children and grandchildren," he concluded.
