The Figure Of SEMAR Comes With The Sound Of Ammir Gita And The Light Ensemble

JAKARTA - Ammir Gita and the Cahaya Ensembleng presented the latest single with the title SEMAR a cross-dimensional work which is also a spiritual call. Like the title of the song, Semar is a central figure in narration. He is a protective friend, caregiver, as well as a reminder.

Semar is also a figure who is not hungry for power, does not look for followers, and does not serve lies. If brought to this era, the figure is an influencer of conscience, who speaks honestly, is critical without hating, and is present unconditionally.

The composition worked on by Ammir cs describes the current precarious situation an era full of information, value crisis, and image without content which makes the presence of Semar a necessity.

Semar is described as a voice of the heart that can be reborn on the streets, social media, to inner conversations.

SEMAR involves Sudjiwo Tejo as the puppeteer/narrator who starts the song; Sita Nursanti as the singer of praise for Dewi Sri; Sandhidea CN as a dancer who translates Semar in sacred motion; and Wisnu Ikhsantama in the work of mixing and mastering.

This song is the first part of the series by the Cahaya Ensemble Tribe consisting of usaha Angkiry, Yudhis Mahendra, and Achi Hardjakusumah which aims to revive the archipelago mythology through contemporary musical expressions.

In the future, SEMAR as the icon of the archipelago will be brought to the world stage through music festivals in Japan, Korea and Indonesia throughout 20252026.
