Brisia Jodie Wants To Show A More Adult Image In A Single No Restu

JAKARTA - Brisia Jodie held a release party to welcome the latest single entitled 'No Restu'. Through this song, he felt there was a change in himself as a singer.

The 28-year-old singer said this single brought her out of her comfort zone as a singer. He tries to build a more mature image and be himself.

"(In this again) I became more mature, just like I became who I am," said Brisia Jodie when met after the release party in Alam Sutera, South Tangerang on Thursday, September 5.

"Also (it's been yourself) actually, but I mean I'm what I am today, (which is getting) older," he continued.

This song also marks the new beginning of Brisia Jodie's musical journey as a singer, since her contract with Universal Music Indonesia's music label ended last year.

Currently, Jodie is forming his own team to take care of the release of a new song, which is recognized to be tougher, but on the other hand it is a challenge that is to be passed.

"The joy and sorrow are the same. If it's labeled, it's taken care of, if you use your own team, it's really bad, but I want to try it," he said.

For Jodie, working with a team he formed himself, helping him develop as a musician. He also wants to show what his idealism is in music.

"I want to try it with my own ideals. So I will manage and I will definitely be more satisfied, and will try more about his work," said Jodie.

"In the past, it was only those (labels) who took care of it, now I'm really trying to be with you," he said.
