Arash Buana Is More Satisfied With The Results In The Second Album, Life Update

JAKARTA - Arash Buana is preparing to launch their second full album titled life update. This album consists of 11 songs that have been worked on since 2022.

Different from the logic mess' (2022) album which he calls darker, the 21-year-old singer admits that she is more satisfied with composing on the new album.

"This time I'm bolder, starting from writing the lyrics, the topics I choose, and also being more satisfied with what I've made," said Arash Buana when met at Pejaten, South Jakarta, Friday, August 30.

Arash cannot describe in detail the material on his new album, but the personal story described in the eleven songs is a reflection of him who is already 21 years old.

"This album's common thread may be a conclusion from my current age. Yes, it's just a marker, like 'OK, I'm at this age, like this'," he said.

Although the lyrics of the song contain personal stories, Arash does not mind if the songs are interpreted by other listeners. The most important thing for him is that his work can entertain listeners.

"If people's interpretation doesn't have a problem, as long as their body is reached, the song can be entertaining. And as long as the song doesn't mention it, I don't have any problems with their interpretation," said Arash.

Meanwhile, the production of songs on the life update album has started since 2022. Arash admitted that he had a lot of inspiration from his favorite musicians and groups such as 1975, LANY, to John Mayer.

The eleven songs on this album are also written in English, similar to the songs he has written before.

Not without reason, Arash felt that his ability to write limited lyrics was only in English, although he did not close to challenging himself to write in Indonesian in the future.

"The reason I don't write Indonesian is actually to cover up my shortcomings. Yes, hopefully in the future I can compose Indonesian songs," he said.
