JAKARTA - On social media Instagram, an account that commits fraud by selling tickets to George Harliono's concert entitled Valentine Concert at the Jakarta Arts Building on February 13.
The account with the name @valentine.concert declared itself the official account for ticket sales, by showing several screenshots of the ticket sales process.
The fraud carried out by the account was confirmed through the upload of George Harliono's Instagram Story. The British-based Indonesian-blooded tennis player appealed to his followers not to buy tickets from the account.
"This is not an official account, please don't buy a ticket from here," wrote George.
The VOI team has also tried to contact the WhatsApp number listed on the account, by asking for ticket availability.
Only a minute later, the fraudster who used the business account gave a reply by informing a list of ticket availability and how to buy it.

The VOI team was also asked to transfer some money to Bank Danamon's account with account number 003686259262, on behalf of Silvi Yanti Rahman, no later than 20 minutes after his last message.
The account is confirmed to have committed fraud, considering George Harliono has announced that tickets for the concert have been sold out since 12 November 2024.
