Jessie J Reveals Mental Disorders Suffered Since Three Months AGO

JAKARTA - Singer Jessie J through an Instagram upload revealed that she was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and an obssessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

"I was diagnosed with ADHD and OCD about three months ago," wrote Jessie J, citing an Instagram post caption, Thursday, July 25.

The 'Price Tag' singer also uploaded two videos showing himself appearing on stage at different times.

"It's weird when you know you've been a little different and feeling different things your whole life, and eventually one day when you don't expect it, someone really explains why and you can't avoid it," said Jessie J.

Jessie knows that there are problems caused by ADHD and OCD, but she wants to use different perspectives and see problems in her mental state become a strength in itself.

"To be honest I feel like this is a superpower as long as you look at it from the right perspective and have the right support and the people around you who can navigate it with you," he said.

It made me think back my whole life. The way I've been, I've faced various things. The relationship I have. How I work and how I love.

Jessie feels more understanding of herself at this time. She also wants people who suffer from similar disorders to be able to deal with it properly and not limit themselves.

"And I know there are so many people who have experienced the same thing and honestly I just extended my hand to hold my hand and because I also want to hold my hand. I have no limits haha, we know that."
