JAKARTA - Since the self-titled album in 2015, Teza Sumendra has no longer released an album, until finally after nine years, the extension play (EP) or mini album titled 'Midnight Motion' was launched today, Thursday, May 16.
This mini album contains six songs, "The Intro(vert)", Got Supply, Lights Off, I Do Know, Daytime Alibi, and On It. The first two songs have been released previously, while the other four songs are songs that were first introduced via Midnight Motion.
Regarding the album comeback after nine years, Teza said there was no specific reason. He felt that his creative process had been enough to produce new works.
"I'm lazy, I like to procrastinate. Maybe my creative process and other people are different, so there are songs that were collected first until finally I thought I could release this time, yes, it's too late in the folder," said Teza Sumendra during a press conference in Lebak Bulus, today.
The songs on the 'Moonlight Motion' are made around midnight until dawn. These moments reflect on all emotions, atmospheres, and nuances that bring different feelings when we talk about similar events that occur during the day.

The choice of the title of this mini album was also written at night, starting when Teza met fellow musicians in the middle of the night for music.
'On It' is a focus track for 'Midnight Motion'. Teza said this song has a common thread with 'Got Supply' which was released some time ago.
Yesterday the release of 'Got Supply, and (On It) is still connecting. If the Got Supply is like inviting people to come to our party, On It is when my wife runs. So, it's still events that occur at night," concluded Teza Sumendra.
