"With a very heavy heart, I have to announce that Sean Blosl has died. He was involved in a vehicle accident in Seattle," wrote Rutledge, Tuesday, December 31.
"I'm having a hard time posting this news. I don't like the announcement of death on social media, but I'm aware that even though I think it's a personal family issue, Sean is also a very important part of Seattle's music world."
Rutledge said Sean's figure was not only a brother to him, but also a brother to the Sanctuary personnel.
"We had a musical dream when we were little that came true. Without Sean by my side, I don't know if I would have the opportunity to make this musical journey," said Rutledge.
"It is very difficult to summarize all love, memories, and experiences for life, but I will always remember Sean as an inspiration and teacher. Rest in peace, my brother. See you on the other hand," he concluded.
