Defendive Vocalist Viral On Social Media For Kicking Head Of Audience

JAKARTA - The hardcore band from Bogor, Defective has become a conversation on social media. The vocalist's stage action, Diva alias Cimeng, drew criticism for deliberately kicking the audience.

In the video that is spread on Instagram, it can be seen that Defective appears on stage, with some viewers doing MOSING and some leaning on the guardrail.

On the sidelines of his appearance, Diva approached the audience and suddenly kicked him in the head. Not enough one, the vocalist kicked two male spectators.

Even though his head was kicked, there was no visible anger from the faces of the two spectators. Diva continued his appearance as if nothing had happened.

However, a strong enough reaction appears on social media. What Diva did to the audience was considered to show inappropriate behavior for a musician.

After the incident attracted a lot of attention, Diva through her Instagram account uploaded an apology video. Without dodged, she stated that she had made a mistake.

With this video, I would like to apologize profusely for the news that has recently been widely discussed. And to the victim, I would like to apologize profusely. I am aware of what I have done. And I admit I am very guilty of this," Diva said, citing a video uploaded by Instagram, Wednesday, January 1.

"With the incident that has happened, once again, I will improve my attitude and my attitude, so that in the future it will be even better," he continued.

Diva also conveyed his intention to apologize directly to the two spectators, and stated his readiness to accept all the consequences for his actions.

In addition, Defective also made a statement via Instagram Story. They stated that they had sanctioned the vocalist and suspended band activities for a while.

"With this we have given Diva severe sanctions, so that Diva becomes a better person. We will continue to guide Diva under our supervision. With this we have suspended all our activities until we feel that Diva has changed and can show a sense of responsibility. With this we apologize profusely to the parties who have been harmed," he said.
