Amazing, Corey Taylor Writes Five Movie Scripts

JAKARTA - Corey Taylor never stops working. This musician is productive and continues to work hard.

Over the years, Taylor balanced work in music with writing books. However, now Taylor set his sights on other media.

According to the rock singer, he has written five movie scripts.

When speaking with Terri Carr of 105.5 WDHA in New Jersey, Taylor revealed that he continues to take advantage of opportunities in the world of movies.

Last year alone, Taylor was associated with the horror anthology Bad Candy, landing a role in the horror film Rucker and appearing in the 80s science-fiction documentary In Search of Tomorrow.

Taylor has also recently expressed an interest in writing musicals about growing up with his hometown friends.

While Taylor has an interest in movies, he insists he is not really interested in big movie roles.

"For me, the interesting part is writing stories. The interesting part, for me, is creating the world, and then watching people make that world come true. That's what I want to see," as reported by Loudwire, Friday, February 19.

Apart from writing the script for the movie, Taylor recently revealed that he is working on a new book and is also promoting CMFT's debut solo record.

Plus, of course, Taylor also wanted his lead band, Slipknot to wrap up their last promotional tour after the pandemic allowed them to tour again.
