JAKARTA - Sean Ono Lennon, son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, revealed the reason he chose to continue to make music. The 49-year-old man said making music had helped fill the void left by his father.
"I've never played music because I'm good at it," said Sean, starting the story of his musical journey, during a recent interview with People.
"I lost my father and I don't know how to fill that void. Studying how to play his songs with a guitar is a way to overcome those losses, with activities that make me feel connected to him," he continued.
Sean calls it motivation. He feels better about his father, who has a big name, when he makes music.
"When you lose your parents, things like that motivate you, because you're trying to find them. Making music always makes me feel like I know him better," he said.
