JAKARTA - Natasya Elvira is preparing to greet jazz lovers through "Cinema.extended" which will be officially released on December 1. This album is an extension of the Cinema which was launched last May.

In the previous version, Natasya reinterpreted eight standard jazz songs, namely Misty, Way You Look Tonight, Moon River, Isnt This A Lovely Day, In A Sentintal Mood, I've Got You Under My Skin, I Get A Kick Out of You, and Easy Living.

And in the upcoming version, Natasya is still reinterpreting the standard jazz song. There were five songs that were presented, one of which was It Don't Mean A Thing from Duke Ellington,

"Honestly, this is a really cool song," said Natasya through a press release to VOI, Monday, November 25.

"The arrangement is beyond reason. For jazz lovers, even music in general, it's really fresh to be fined. I still like to be confused, how come they play like that," continued the nominee for the AMI Awards.

Meanwhile, Kevin Yosua's rearrangement of the music was done. He tried to present something different and more suitable for Natasya to sing.

The recordings for the songs on "Cinema.extended" were done in conjunction with eight songs that had already been released. Musicians who worked for the recording process were Pradana Setya Kusuma (producer), Kevin Yosua ( bass contrast and music director), Rio Manuel (piano), and Hansen Arief (drums).

For Natasya, Cinema.extended is not just a collection of songs, but a picture of musical travel that takes listeners to the golden era of jazz, but with a new touch.

"From Gershwin to Ellington, the songs on this album are quite familiar to jazz lovers, as well as attractive to ordinary listeners," he said.
