JAKARTA - After being successfully attended by more than 700 participants in Toraja, the 2024 Maxi Yamaha Day series resumed its excitement in Sambas, West Kalimantan.

At this event, the concept that has been carried is still the same as since 2018, namely Ride & Camp (vehicle & camping). This concept is unique and aims to maintain a sense and atmosphere of brotherhood among fellow Yamaha premium scutik users.

Taking place on September 14-15, 2024, last weekend, more than 350 participants attended the Maxi Yamaha Day Sambas 2024 event located on Bahari Beach, Jawai, Sambas, one of the beaches in West Kalimantan which is famous for its rows of shady coconut trees, clean white sand, and charming rock formations.

"Event Maxi Yamaha Day is one of the most eagerly awaited agendas by every loyal user Maxi in West Kalimantan. The enthusiasm of the participants every year is extraordinary. Often I find many participants who are willing to take long-distance tours to come to Maxi Yamaha Day," said the Director of Sales of PT. Aneka Makmur Sejahtera, Ardyanto, in an official statement received, Tuesday, September 17.

The event was very exciting and began with a long-distance touring activity of more than 750 kilometers from Melawi, passing through Jalan Lintas Kalimantan, Central Axis, one of the road accesses on the island of Kalimantan which is famous for its inclines and steep descents, sharp bends, rocky, muddy earth roads, and puddles.

After passing through various winding and challenging terrains, the touring participants arrived in the equator, Pontianak. Here, they were greeted by other Maxi Yamaha Day participants before continuing their journey to Sambas. Touring participants also took the time to take pictures in front of the iconic Equatorial Monument.

From Pontianak, participants continued their journey to the Pinyuh and Singkawang rivers to meet other Maxi Yamaha Day participants. Arriving there, they were greeted by a stretch of beautiful white sand and soothing waves. They also met with a group of NMAX Tour participants, Boemi Nusantara, who had managed to complete their journey from Pontianak to Sambas for more than 550 kilometers.

The participants appreciated the holding of this event, one of which was Yuta Sinidol, who shared her experience and testimony about Maxi Yamaha Day Sambas 2024.

"The event is really fun in my opinion. Especially because this time I finally got to feel the performance of NMAX Turbo when I passed various obstacles," he said.

After Sambas, the 2024 Maxi Yamaha Day series with the concept of Ride & Camp will visit Bandung and Medan on September 21'22.
