Offroad Chery J6 SUV Officially Present In Semarang, This Is The Price

JAKARTA - After greeting two major cities, namely Makassar and Surabaya, PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) this time officially presents an off-road Chery J6 SUV in Semarang City, the center of industry and the capital city of Central Java Province.

Semarang was chosen as the next destination due to dynamic market characteristics and promising automotive growth potential, and Chery J6 could be the right model.

Head of Brand Department of PT Chery Sales Indonesia, Rifkie Setiawan, said he was very enthusiastic about the launch of Chery J6 in Semarang, and believed this model could meet a trendy and tough urban lifestyle to use to various road conditions.

"Because not only as an iconic, stylish and modern vehicle, we also present the first electric offroad SUV as a mobility solution that contributes to environmental sustainability and can encourage the growth of the national automotive industry," he added.

For prices in Semarang and its surroundings, Chery J6 is priced starting from Rp508 million for the RWD variant and for iWD it is at Rp568 million (OTR Semarang). The price announced also includes a subsidized Value Added Tax (VAT), according to the Indonesian government's policy for electric vehicles that have met the TKDN requirements of 40 percent.

Present as the second locally assembled electric SUV (CKD) in the country, Chery J6 also appears by combining premium comfort and tough offroad capabilities. Equipped also with a large capacity battery, Chery J6 then offers a long distance of up to 426 Km for the RWD variant and 418 Km for the iWD variant based on the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) method.

This brand from China also provides convenience for the first 1,000 consumers of J6 with special benefits in the form of free insurance for one year and life insurance for batteries, driving motors and motor controllers.
