BAIC BJ30 Hybrid Will Soon Be Launched In Indonesia, Here's The Leak Of Specifications

JAKARTA - PT Jio Distribution Indonesia is ready to enliven the Indonesian automotive market by presenting various new models, including hybrid cars that are increasingly in demand. After successfully launching BAIC BJ40 and X55 II and introducing BJ80, the company is now preparing to bring in a hybrid BJ30 model.

COO of PT Jio Distribution Indonesia, Dhani Yahya, revealed the plan.

"We will launch a hybrid BJ30 in August next year," he said when met in the Alam Sutera area, Tangerang, Monday, October 28.

This hybrid BJ30 is included in the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) segment and has begun production. The model was first introduced at the Beijing Auto Show and has now been produced in the right steering version.

In terms of specifications, BJ30 hybrid appears with a dashing and modern boxy design. This car has a length of 4,730 mm, a width of 1,910 mm, and a height of 1,790 mm, giving a strong impression that is suitable for various terrains.

For performance matters, BAIC BJ30 is hybrid equipped with a 1,500 cc engine, 4 cylinders capable of producing 210 kW of power and 685 Nm of peak torque. The machine is combined with a DHT Hybrid transmission that supplies power to all four wheels, providing responsive and efficient performance.

In the Chinese market, the BAIC BJ30 hybrid is priced at 120,000 yuan or around Rp264 million, offering attractive options for consumers looking for an environmentally powered and environmentally friendly SUV.
